Bio
David Alejandro Mesquita is a multi-media artist born in East Hollywood and currently residing in the San Fernando Valley. Mesquita holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Mesquita has shown in various Los Angeles-based galleries such as The Wolford House Cupped (2025), Resin Gallery’s CMND Z (2024), Hive Gallery’s Fresh Honey (2024), and CSUN’s Annual Juried Student Show (2025). He has also done editorial illustrations for online and print editions of The Daily Sundial and helped curate Spectrum of Being group exhibition for CSUN’s Open Studios (2025). Mesquita uses paintings, sculpture, and ceramics in order to create his own mythos, which is inspired by art history, video game concept art and religious mythology.
